Equine Assisted LearningIs simply being in an office, talking to a therapist, just not cutting for you? Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) provides experiential learning opportunities for you, individually or together with members of your family or group. Learn about relationship dynamics, behaviors and emotions that impact your everyday life. Take your unworkable strategies and interpersonal frustrations into our horse arena. You will see why what your doing isn't working and what you can do instead. Let us help you find your self-empowerment through the horse. Great for individuals, couples, parents, youth and professionals searching to obtain personal growth and become more self-aware. EAL is known to enhance the effectiveness of other psychotherapy models especially for clients who may have plateaued. Our program is brief in nature and provides a sense of immediate awareness and understanding. The focus is not riding nor horsemanship; 90% takes place on the ground. The focus involves activities with equines, which will require the client or group to apply certain skills. Non-verbal communication, assertiveness, creative thinking, problem solving, leadership, taking responsibility, teamwork, relationships, confidence, and attitude are several examples of the tools utilized by this equine activity. The cost of each session is $65.00 per person and $100.00 for couples/families. Sessions last 1-1.5 hours. Just reading about this service may not provide you with a clear understanding of how EAL can help you overcome challenges in your personal or professional life. Please contact us if you are interested to find out more about how our equine program can benefit you. We offer a free introductory session to clinical service providers interested in our program.
